How To Create A One Stop Shop Logo Design For Your Local Store

Author : Tammys Beckers   Top Author

Are you opening a new shop in your neighborhood where fifty others exist already?

How will you get the customers to stop and take notice of your shop out of so many?

You can do that through your shop’s logo.

Take a distinct feature that you offer and use that as an inspiration for your shop logo design.

Does your store offer a one-stop service to its customers?

Then use to create your brand mark.

What images should you use?

Use images that are big, bold and easy to understand. For example, you can craft the words ‘stop’ like a stop sign and place the business name around it. That way the design will look big, eye catching and will be compact at the same time. You can also use the traffic signal design as your inspiration and craft the symbol accordingly. You can also use an image of an open palmed hand with the company name inside the palm or beside it.

What fonts should you use?

The main aim of your business symbol is so that the customer can take one look at it and remember it for a long time. So make sure that the type face you use is straight and bold so that it is easier for the customer to understand it. Straight fonts also have the tendency to look formal and professional and they show that they mean business.

What colors should you use?

Use colors that are bright and bold. Light colors never demand the same attention that darker tones do. The color that is most appropriate here is red. Red is energetic, eye catching, confident and bold. If you have noticed, most of the traffic signs are also red colored because of its attractive nature. Red is most likely to stop your customers in their tracks and demand attention. Others colors that are bright and dazzling are black, orange and dark blue. Black will add an authoritative aura to your brand mark but it must be combined with a complementary shade otherwise your store symbol will look too dark and intimidating. Combination of black and yellow can be quite appealing in many cases. Dark blue is also used often in store marks as it represents trust and dependability. Other than that, if you want to tell your customers that your store provides organic and hygienic options through your stop and shop logo then you can use shades of green in your trademark which represents natural beauty and environmental sustainability.

In conclusion, make sure that the design you craft is big, bold and bright. It should be eye catching enough to be attractive without being too colorful or complicated. That way, your customers will take just one look at your store trademark and walk right in.
