Pitampura-A Best Place For Children's Basic Education

Pitampura is situated in North Delhi and this is the most affluent residential area. This place was given the name from Pitampura village which is located near Madhuban Chowk and the history of this place is around 400-500 years old. There are three metro stations Netaji Subhash place, Kohat enclave and Pitampura. Dilli Haat which lies in Pitam Pura is the second kind of project of Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation.

The achievement of Dilli Haat which is in INA market encouraged the DITDC to open another larger and enhanced Dilli Haat at Pitampura. There are several schools which are rising in number and student across the country come here for higher studies.
New Star Senior Secondary school is situated in West Enclave, Pitampura, Delhi. It's an English medium school, that follows the co-education system and it offers education from the primary to the senior secondary school.

The school is affiliated to the CBSE board. There are many CBSE schools in Pitampura but New Star Sr. Sec. School is one of the most popular schools in the locality. The school is dedicated to provide world class educational facilities to its students and encourages its students to take part in various co-curricular activities like music, dance, arts and sports.Co-curricular activities help students in getting mental rest and also to stay physically fit and healthy. It is a co-educational English medium school and affiliated to C.B.S.E board. Late Sh. Lomesh Rishi Pathak and Late Smt. Krishna Pathak is the founder of the school. They believe that education is the influence which is initiated by the mature upon the immature through instructions, discipline and harmonious development of physical, intellectual, asthetic, social and spiritual power.
