Is Acne Preventable?

Author : Sara Gilbertson

It's difficult, I agree, to prevent acne, but it's not impossible. You can prevent the condition from appearing all the time and you can do this in lots of ways. Preventing acne takes a resourcefulness and determination that many people do not really have. Most folks often prefer to do nothing until the condition breaks out on their skin, but it really is a simple procedure. Since it often comes with puberty, start from before its onset to watch your diet. The syndrome might never come to you as a result.

You don't have to wait until acne is upon you before you begin to take measures to deal with it. Keeping your skin constantly clean is a good way to prevent the condition from happening to you. You know that if you never suffer from it at all, you are that much better than when it breaks out and you have to deal with it. So do it.

Years after your acne has begun, you could still be kicking yourself and wondering why you didn't prevent it when you could have. You don't want that to happen, so see about preventing the skin ailment already. Makes simple but perfect sense, wouldn't you say?

Keeping a watch on your hormones might help you keep acne in check. I speak not of curing or treating it, but of preventing the condition. Talk to your doc about it; they will help you understand how that hormone imbalances can cause the disease, and how if you are able to maintain some kind of balance, you can prevent it.

I am sure this might be new to you and lots of other people, but it's true that acne can be hereditary too. Yes, if one of your parents suffered massively from the condition, this can affect you too. Preventing it means you may have to address it a bit more aggressively than most others would. You might have to commence regular treatment even before the zits begin to appear on your skin.
