HTC Desire Now Available With Exclusive Features

Author : Johnppm Brown

HTC Desire mobile phone is the most projected phone in today's market. Though it does not look very dazzling in its appearance, design and the screen size does not even have space for a chin but there is a slight curve towards the bottom edge of the mobile phone which makes it appealing to many. A metal frame envelopes the upper half of the device whereas there is a rubberized cover around the sides and the bottom controls.

It has 3.7 inch big screen and its dimensions are 60 x 119 x 11.9mm. It looks long and slim in appearance. It weighs only 135g and can easily be accommodated in your pocket. It easily fits into your grip and is made up of fine quality material. Engaging in long conversations using HTC Desire is a comfortable experience because of the smooth curve of the phone which could never be achieved in case of either Apple iPhone or even HTC Legend.

Across the bottom of the phone, the normal controls such as home, menu, back as well as search are available surrounding a central optical button which makes it much different from the Google Nexus One's touch controls. The screen makes navigation much easier and there is hardly any requirement for optical control which is mostly used for controlling the camera.

Towards the left-hand side of the HTC Desire, normal volume controls are available whereas towards the top, the power/standby button is available with a 3.5mm jack. Towards the bottom, there is a standard MicroUSB meant for charging. The back of the HTC Desire has an external speaker, a 5 megapixel camera and also the LED "flash". HTC Desire has all the connectivity that is expected from a high-end smartphone. It offers HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, digital compass and sensors as well.

HTC Desire has a highly efficient touch response and is more powerful in terms of performance than the Legend. The Desire has a number of applications. The greatest problem with the HTC Desire is its battery life. You can fire up the HTC Desire and surf the Internet, shoot a video, engage in few long calls and enjoy some music. But once the battery is used up, you can either charge the battery or replace it. It simplifies the way you handle your social networks. Your communication with friends on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr are all arranged in a single and simple to follow stream of updates, shared links and photoposts.
