Agra Tourism – Explore Rich Cultural Heritage Of India

Agra is a historical and ancient town of India. It is located on the banks of Yamuna River in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Agra tourism attracts tourists through out the entire globe. Tourists have a brilliant opportunity to explore rich cultural heritage and historical attractions of India while traveling in Agra. Fatehpur Sikri: Fatehpur Sikri is one another world heritage site to visit on Agra city tour. It is located in the outskirts of the city. It is home to many magnificent monuments and ruins of several forts and palaces. This abandoned city was built by Akbar as his capital but unfortunately the city was discarded due to scarcity of drinking water. Itmad-Ud-Daullah: The Itmad-Ud-Daullah is tomb monument. It is a magnificent architecture built by Mughal empress Noor Jahan in the commemoration of her father. It is interiors are considered as more beautiful than of the Taj Mahal. The monument is also described as the Little Taj Mahal or Baby Taj or the Draft of the Taj Mahal.
