Eczema Remedies For Fast Relief

Author : Zechong Cai

Alleviating eczema isn't easy as taking a drug and it will just go away. Determining the cause of the disorder and directly dealing with them will manage eczema though. Some tips to do this are:

Rub in some nutmeg. Some swear that nutmeg paste can be used to treat eczema-plagued areas.

Eat foods high in fatty acids, such as walnuts and avocados, to reduce allergic reactions and inflammation caused by eczema. These foods are some of the best natural remedies for eczema and keep the skin from drying out completely, healing from the inside out.

Use of olive oil can also promote healing of eczema in children. Natural remedies involving usage of essential oils have always benefited to relieve such type of skin problems. Unrefined, cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil contains high amount of vitamin E, which is known to rejuvenate the skin. Topical products containing vitamin E are often used to maintain healthy skin. The moisturizing properties of olive oil alleviate itching, and provide softness to the skin.

Change your diet to a low carb diet and this can help get rid of or reduce the itching and inflammation caused by eczema. People who have tried this say that by just cutting out sugars, flour, potatoes and rice have seen a decrease in eczema flare ups. Any time you begin to feel stress coming on you can take a moment and do this breathing exercise. For meditation find a quite space. You can sit on a chair or for those with conditioning you can sit on the floor in a lotus position. Close your eyes and begin focusing on your breath. As your mind wonders off, gently bring it back to focusing on the breath. Breathing deeply and learning to focus only on your own breathing will bring a great deal of relaxation. In time you will grow to look forward to each meditation session as it will not only aid in fewer outbreaks of eczema, but will help improve many aspects of your general health.

Tea: Add 1 cup boiling water on 2 teaspoon dried leaves and blossom, let it soak, drink 1 cup in the morning and evening for several weeks
Compress: Add 1/2 l boiling water on 1-2 tablespoon leaves and blossom, let it soak for 15 minutes, make compresses (see oak procedure)

Mix equal amounts of red clover, heartsease, burdock leaves, fumitory, and stinging nettles, which will help to reduce inflammation, stimulate the digestion and circulation, and clear any toxins that are contributing to the problem. Use two teaspoons of the mixture to a cup of boiling water, three times a day.
