You should ideally find out some information about the area you're relocating to before you move. Do some searching online for relocation information. If you know anyone who already lives in this area, ask them questions about daily life, culture, the location of important places and so forth. You should find out some essential information about the place you're moving to, such as whether or not it's safe, whether it's noisy and how easy it is to get to the shops. Making sure you do some research on the area before you move is important to ensure you will like it, as some cities and regions aren't very similar at all.
