Cross Trainers are the Exercise Equipment which is used for the Building of lower and upper part of the body. The Cross trainers will have the drive which is fixed to pedals and the Handgrips are provided. The movement of the Equipment when it's working will be similar to Elliptical path. And hence Cross Trainer is also called as Elliptical Trainer.
Cross Trainer has 3 categories fixed under the location of drive in Equipment, in oldest design it was rear drive and in middle-ages it was Front drive and at present the drives are fixed at center of Equipment. This has become the basic equipment in the Gymnasium now a days and more over in recent researches it has been observed that the cross trainers burns the similar number of calories as compared to treadmill.
The Best part of the cross trainer is this equipment provides user to stimulate the more pressure on the junctions of bones by decreasing the risk of injuries to user and ensuring to stay fit. However we could adjust the belt drive according to requirement by concentrating on certain part of the muscle, Handgrips provided also makes exercise to upper body. As the drive is at center we can pedal them forward or backward. These days Cross Trainer has evolved immensely and has included many features like The Magnetic Braking system, Self-Powered, Smooth motion of the body (making equal impact on all joints of body upper and lower), Length adjustment, option for increasing the Load on pedals.
Cross Trainer is perfect for Cardio Benefit and for Lower body, and these can beat the Exercise bikes, Treadmills in simplicity, cost. These are growing in popularity immensely than any other Exercise equipment. And it is also used for fat burning under Belly. The digital meter are also fixed for indication of time etc.try to look for better brands instead of going for cheap quality, some of the well known manufactures are Proform, Precor, Nordic track etc.
