Can You Actually Achieve Your Desired Weight In A Month?

Author : Manny Palombi

This is a question that a lot of people are asking, most especially those that have problems with their weight and seem to be struggling to shed off some pounds, even with the best diet plan or best diet plans around. In fact, most do not actually believe that achieving the desired weight in a month is possible. However, it actually is and for those who don't believe it, then read on.

Truth be told, the real secret behind weight loss and achieving one's desired one can be summarized in two D's, namely Determination and Discipline, and when both are applied, achieving the desired weight in a month and even achieving the right body physique is quite easy.

For starters, remember that there is no quick route to losing weight. In order for a person to lose weight, one must burn fat, and a pound of fat is equivalent to 3,500 calories, and if you manage to burn an excess of 3,500 calories in a week, then you're going to lose a pound. Place due importance on the word, excess, as excess means the extra calories you burn aside from the calories you take in on a daily basis. For example, an average person need 2,500-3,500 calories a day, of which should also contain all the necessary nutrients and minerals. Suffice to say, in order to burn 3,500 calories a week, you'll have to be burning about 4,000 calories a day to be safe, so that you actually burn more than you eat.

Also, burning a lot on a daily basis helps too, considering that the most effective rate of losing weight is by 2-4 pounds a week, and that's about 7,000-14,000 excess calories burnt each and every week. Sounds hard, doesn't it? Yes, it is hard, which is why, discipline and determination are keys in order to be able to achieve the desired weight in a month.

Discipline is required in order for a person to be able to control his/herself to not eat things that actually contain calories that will not satisfy their hunger, such as simple carbohydrates, junk foods, sodas, and other processed unhealthy meals. Plus, determination is key in order for a person to be able to discipline his/herself.

When both of these are implemented, losing weight and getting that physique you've always dreamed of, especially in as little a time as a span of 30 days isn't quite that far-fetched. With the right amount of research, weight training, cardiovascular exercises, sport activities, and stretching, a person will eventually reach that.

Remember, don't be afraid to do your very own research and if you're an avid fan of the biggest loser, you can actually search online on what biggest loser diet plan is the most effective for you, and what diet plan has the best biggest loser review. But, don't be afraid to try out your own diet plan as well, as long as you know the basic necessities and things to avoid, then you're good to go.
