Natural Tinnitus Remedies Work Wonders

Author : Frederick Singletonne

Cannot stop the ringing in your head? Well you are not the only one! Millions of people suffer from a condition called Tinnitus. Tinnitus is a characterised by a ringing sound which seems to originate inside of your ear or head. The sound either comes and goes or remains until the underlying cause is seen to. Remember that Tinnitus is not a disease or injury but a symptom of an underlying cause which is located in either the middle or inner ear. In most cases Tinnitus is not a worrisome nor a severe issue, yet the underlying cause of the Tinnitus needs to be seen to in order for the ringing to stop. There are many natural tinnitus remedies on the market in the form of herbal supplements but there are also other natural tinnitus remedies which you can pick up at a homeopathic shop or a pharmacy .

Recently my husband suffered a bout of tinnitus, which lasted for a few months until he saw a doctor. The cause of his Tinnitus was a build up of wax in the middle ear. The wax hardened and formed a type of wax plug. He does not believe in using a cotton bud to clean his ears as it can damage the inner ear but instead uses his fingers, but it seems that by accident every time he used his finger to clean his ear he was also pushing wax further into his middle ear. When the hard plug of wax was removed the ringing stopped. There could be many other causes of tinnitus including, an ear infection, a blast injury due to an explosion, Meniere's disease or tumors of the middle ear.

The first step in natural tinnitus remedy is to pay a visit to your doctor, to understand what the underlying cause of the Tinnitus is. Once the cause is found, you can proceed to treat it and the ringing symptom should clear up to a certain degree although depending on the cause it is not guaranteed that the ringing will clear completely. There are many natural tinnitus remedies on the market. Many products containing natural ingredients can be found on the internet as well as in the pharmacies and homeopathic and herbal shops. Some herbs such as Ginko Biloba have been known to have a positive effect because it increases blood flow to the middle and inner ear. Tinnitus could also be the result of a vitamin B deficiency. A Niacin supplement or a general vitamin B complex tablet can be taken if it is in fact a Vitamin B deficiency. Homeopathic tissue salts such as; Mag Phos, Nat. Mur, Ferr Phos and Kali have also shown to be effective in the treatment of tinnitus, by also increasing blood flow. These tissue salts can be found at most good pharmacies or at homeopathic stores. Remember the steps to treating tinnitus is to firstly see your doctor to find out the underlying cause of the ringing. Once you have found out the cause, make sure to research the natural tinnitus remedies and choose one adapted to your condition.
