Another Magnificent Seven – WordPress Plugins You Need To Consider For Your Blog Or Website – Part 2

Author : Wendy Moore

There are so many great plugins so here is a list of another seven that are well worth a look.

Status Updater
Instead of having to manually update your Facebook status, Facebook Fan Page wall or Twitter status with every new post you publish to your blog or website, this WordPress plugin will do it for you. Why reinvent the wheel? Post once and have this plugin do the leg work for you.

WP Facebook Connect
This allows readers to sign in with their Facebook account and publish comments to the newsfeed. Once logged in to Facebook, the comment avatar will also show the person's Facebook profile photo.

Comment Luv
This plugin shows the latest post of the person who made a comment on your blog. The post is usually displayed below his or her comment. This makes it a win-win situation for both the blog owner and the visitor who gains exposure for their own blog.

Google Analytics for WordPress
We all know that with Google Analytics installed on your website or blog you can easily track who is visiting your pages. This plugin makes the set up of Google Analytics on your page super easy. No need to muck around with a lot of code. It's simple to install through integration with the Google Analytics API and uses the asynchronous tracking code. Easy!

PopUp Domination
This plugin works magic for any blog or website. Its main function is for list building and pops up when someone visits your website or blog. It takes only a few minutes to put it on your site and you can also customise it to match your WordPress theme. Since installing this on my blog my opt ins have certainly increased.

WP Super Cache
This is a super little plugin that is very useful for allowing content on your website or blog to be loaded faster. Because the content is cached (the plugin generates static html files from your dynamic WordPress blog or website), it makes the loading of the content on the site faster, as the server is doing less work to recall the information. I'm sure you'll agree, we all like a site that loads nice and quickly so this plugin is a must.

SEO Friendly Images
We all know the importance of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), so it makes sense to add a plugin that makes naming your images for SEO purposes really easy. So easy in fact, this plugin automatically adds alt and title attributes to all your images, even if you don't have them set. Got to love SEO on autopilot!
