Network Marketing Success in the 21st Century is fairly altered than it use to be. The ground rules of the business model is the same, except the methods have changed. For years and years network marketing has been built on the principles of building a team of like minded persons who can all benefit. It is built through fantastic leadership and providing a solution to a problem that is present in a persons life.

That problem may perhaps be with their physical health, unhappy service they are getting from somewhere else, or it might just be financial. Let us be real here, I don't care who you are, at certain points in a person's life, everyone has some sort of financial strain. For some it might just be that they are having a tough time paying the heating bill this month. For others they may have a hundred thousand dollar deal that might fall through or they have tons of investments in a bad market.

To have network marketing success, you have got to understand that it is all about building relationships with people. Without people you won't succeed in this industry... period. The ways we connect with people today on the other hand is way different than we use to. So connecting with a person online is basically, much like connecting with them offline.

Remember when there was no email, or internet and when you called someone they would actually answer? Well it's going to get worse. To have network marketing success in our modern times, requires you to approach it another way.

Before the internet, you would call a person and tell them about an opportunity you found, mail them a CD or get them on an introductory call. Then you would follow up to get their feedback. Next you would drag them, I mean invite, them to a meeting so they can sit through a 2 hour presentation and decide to join or not.

Well, that plan worked very well and to this day it still does to a point. The problem that tends to happen since the internet and caller ID came about, is this scenario. You connect with someone and share with them about an opportunity. They go to their computer and do a google search and learn a whole lot more about it. But they learned more through someone else who has more authority over you. If this person wants to be successful, who do you think they are going to be drawn to? That is right, the person online.

So to go on with the saga, the person kind of blows you off. Then you get a call from them 2 months later because they wanted to tell you about what they are doing both online and offline that is making them money and it's with a completely separate company.

For network marketing success in the twenty first century you have to be everywhere, all the time, at once. So if you don't have sexy tights and a cape, how do you achieve this? It is simple, you learn how to market online to blend with your offline strategies. So when you're offline talking to someone and they do a google search, they find YOU instead of someone else. Pretty clever huh? Plus you can generate your own passive lead flow at the same time on auto-pilot.

To accomplish this you must poses a working knowledge of personal branding and lead generation. This will allow you to be everywhere, all the time, generate your own leads, and even profit when someone says no to your opportunity.
