The Best Way To Comment On DoFollow Blogs

Author : Rob Selaney

Blog commenting has always been an effective way to gain targeted backlinks to your website or blog. There are lots of options for growing the number of backlinks to your site but blog commenting is one of the most popular. If you want to use this method for SEO purposes, though, you need to make sure that your comments get left on blogs that are "do-follow" because comments left on other blogs don't get counted by the major search engines. Once you find such blogs, your next aim should be to have all your comments approved by the blog owners, since putting in so much effort to comment has to be worth it, right?

Read the Blog Post: There are reasons comments fail to get approved by blog owners: they don't contribute to the value of the blog post or they simply do not make any sense. If you really want your comment to get approved then make sure you go through the blog post, understand what it's saying and then proceed to comment. Your comment can be your own opinion, relevant facts you know or just your own analysis of the post itself--whatever is the case; don't just leave words for the heck of it. Don't forget: the more comments that get approved, the more backlinks you get. Choose Relevant Blogs: The blogs you leave comments on need to pertain to the main topics of your own sites. Make sure that you choose blogs that are actually related to the same topic as your own site. Random backlinks do not carry as much weight as targeted backlinks. However, this doesn't mean that you should ignore commenting on other high page rank blog posts - just make sure that the blog is something you are interested in and have knowledge about. Besides that, no matter what niche you choose, every backlink you can get will hold some weight.

Do Not Be Abusive or Offensive: It's alright to be critical about a blog post that you come across, it could be positive criticism that can be taken in good light. However, don't go overboard and start to sound offensive or abusive to the blogger. This will pretty much ensure that your comment gets deleted instead of approved. Try to be subtle while also being nice to the post's writer. From this article we can see that blog commenting, when done correctly can be significant. Your main goal has to be to get your comments approved because all of them add valuable back links to your blog or website. So applying the things you've learned here can help you ensure that the comments you leave are approved so that you can build your backlinks.
