Comment On DoFollow Blogs And Get Noticed

Author : Bobby Brewster

If you're looking for a way to get backlinks that the search engines consider valuable, you should try do-follow blog commenting. All bloggers and website owners need backlinks, and commenting on blogs is a highly effective way to get them. You want to use your time productively, though, so you don't want to comment on all the blogs related to your topic.

Some blogs have the no-follow attribute, and this makes them a lot less valuable to comment on. After you locate do-follow blogs in your niche, your next challenge is to learn how to write comments that the blog owners will be glad to publish.

Make Sure Your Gravatar Has Your Picture: The owners of blogs are only likely to approve the comments that are real and authentic sounding and don't seem like spam. It is your job to make it as easy as possible for them to approve you so be sure that you are using a picture of your own in your Gravatar--a feature offered by WordPress that allows users to feature any picture you want to use. This increases the chances of having your comment approved by the blog owner when they see that you're someone real, and not a spammer hiding behind a virtual avatar. Choose Blogs in Your Market: When you comment on a blog, that blog should be part of your niche or relevant to your own site's topic. In other words, you need to target the relevant blogs that are actually related to the site you are trying to promote. Random backlinks do not carry as much weight as targeted backlinks. However, this doesn't mean that you should ignore the highly ranking blog posts that actually hold your attention; you just need to make sure that the post covers something that you are interested in and actually know about. Apart from that, every backlink that you get, regardless of the niche, will count in some way or the other.

Don't Leave Vague Comments: Most bloggers are really tired of getting comments that say nothing more than "good post!" or "thank you for the article." This just shows that you're not at all concerned with the content of the blog post which is just basically a good way to make sure your comment gets thrown out. Until you add some value to your comment, there isn't any way that the comment you leave will be approved. So make sure that your comment is directly related to the post that you're posting under so that the blog owner knows that you've read and understood the content.

In summary, this article shows you how valuable commenting on do-follow blogs can be and some of the best methods for ensuring that your comments are approved. It may seem tricky when you first start commenting and the first few comments you leave might very well get deleted but if you keep at it and leave comments that contribute to the conversation of the blog post your comments should get approved most of the time. Just remember that you need to be active with your blog commenting because the more backlinks you get the better you will be.
