Network Marketing System - What Is A FPS?

Author : Jodi Ouellette

There are several reasons why so many people struggle or fail in network marketing. Let’s face it, this industry offers great incentives and great potential, but it’s not for everyone. The dream lifestyle so often portrayed by people, doesn’t just happen. It takes time, hard work, diligence, and most importantly it requires having an actual network marketing system for people to follow. Just like baking a cake, you need specific ingredients and an order that is followed. The latest trend to hit the industry, is a network marketing system called a Funded Proposal System. FPS's have been used for many years, however, for many people new to the industry they don't even know it is an option.

What a FPS Is And How It Is Used For A Network Marketing System

The concept is simple. In using a FPS, your sales focus is not on your actual business opportunity, but rather offering valuable resources upfront that can be utilized by anyone interested in any type of home business. It is a process for producing leads, online or offline, while having the leads actually paying for them self by purchasing your front end offers, again being training, tools, or affiliates. One of the benefits of this type of network marketing system, is you have many opportunities to cash flow your business from leads, regardless of their decision to join your primary company or not. You don’t introduce your opportunity until later.

When your leads purchase one of your offers, then you have a green light to establish trusted relationships. A key to succeeding with a FPS is in your selection of what you actually promote. You can't just throw any old product at people, it needs to be something of real value, something that will help people advance their business or skills. You don’t establish trust, if you offer useless junk to people. Once you develop a trusted relationship, you can begin to attract people to your primary business or company.

This is a reverse way of thinking than what most people in network marketing are taught. That was my experience also, because my business was built on a limited plan of only marketing my particular product and company. So if I had purchased a list of forty leads, and only two people moved forward with my company, that meant I lost 100% of the investment on thirty-eight of those leads. Although for many years I had success with this type of marketing, but for most people unfortunately due to lack of experience or skills, they can end up spending themself out of business before ever seeing a profit.

The biggest challenges new home businesses owners experience is lack of money and lack of leads, using a FPS as a network marketing system can be a real solution. Since it can take a few years to build a decent income with the average mlm company, a FPS, allows you to create multiple streams of income, while building your long term success.
