Offer In Compromise Domains

Author : Jessica Moorhill

Because of the economy's recent downward spiral, many people are left with heavy back taxes that they cannot hope to pay immediately. So many people affected by the recession kept deferring their various taxes until they finally accumulate to an unmanageable amount. With the economy currently in recovery status, these folks are still unable to catch up with their tax debts.
Luckily, the Treasury Department and IRS itself offers a way out called an OIC or offer in compromise. An offer in compromise is an agreement wherein a person or business can settle their tax liabilities for much less than the actual amount owed. All a person or business has to do is prove that they are incapable of settling the amount owed in the time required by the IRS. All that's needed is a tax firm or lawyer that can arrange the processing of the OIC.
Many law firms or contractors offer their services to process offers in compromise for businesses and individuals for a small fee. Competition is harsh and many firms are quickly adopting the online approach to getting customers. With the number of potential customers on the rise because of the recent recession, many law firms need to have a distinct and very visible web presence. This can be done by having a good domain name.
Aside from using search engines, people assume domain names for sites they hope to find like '' or '' for people seeking information on power tools. Search engines aren't exactly one hundred percent with their results and people quickly get tired of chasing back links, chain links and dead links. Desperate people seeking tax breaks do not need such aggravation so a catchy and memorable domain name like '' or '' can quickly and directly get people with tax problems to a law firm's web site.
The better the domain name, the quicker the revenue and a chance to help the increasing population of the tax payment-challenged.
