Social Media…………….21st Century Marketing Tool

Author : check buzz

One of the most common form of marketing since our childhood was television ad but as the time has passed…………..a new component which is buzzing out from Web 2.0 is Social Media marketing. It is to deliver right message to right people through right conversation.

The channel through which it propagates is social media. Anyone can promote anything whatever they wish to, if they have Internet. You just need an account on any social site, write whats in your mind....once it attracts the readers then its done just keep an eye what people are saying about your view. This marketing tool is not gloomy in its infancy as other tools are but as the conversation “hotsupppppp” it appears to be amazing, it is the same thing as the bread looks dull until the butter is applied on it.

Social Media Marketing is one of the low cost promotional and powerful tool as it provides massive amount of visitors, which in turn provide organization with customer and competitive insights thus generating the brand reputation in the mind of customer.

In short it creates a buzzzzzz about product or service in short span of time and in a cost effective way.

Social Media marketing is different from traditional marketing . This approach focuses on fewer sales and more conversations which is opposite to traditional marketing. Social media users use social networking sites such as twitter, facebook, linkedin, etc where they talk about the product, service, business and thus helping organization to receive comment from potential customers and direct customers too which helps the organization to build customer recognition and loyalty.

The part which play the crucial role in social media marketing is the content you expose to the readers, if it fails then you fail. Through Social media marketing organization focuses on the following points:

1. 1. To know what spicy is heating up in community
2. 2. To build brand image
3. 3. To develop revenue through ad
4. 4. To promote product and service

Not only big organizations is focusing on this new marketing media but small organizations too. The percentage is blowing the minds, about 91% of the organization are using social media for marketing purpose. I think this seems to be good start figure.

Among them 65% marketer are those who have just started or are using social media for few months. The average time a new marketer spend is 1 hour per week and the ones who are using social media for long are spending 10 hours per week.

So, with this new buzzzzzzzing tool lets start pumping in.
