Businesses have been majorly segmented into three categories i.e. Small, Medium and Large. Each one of them has its own importance and existence in the market. No business fetches profits until it has been made aware off in minds of consumers. Now comes the question, in fact many questions how, when, where, etc to generate that awareness. The only coined term for this is the “Marketing”.

Marketing has always been the indispensable part of all businesses whether it is small,medium or large. It has always been the “big pocket show” for the large & medium business and considered as an “easy bite” for them, but the black clouds are always around the small business who lack in due to money, as a result they fail to gain market access completely.
Gone are the days when one used to think of money for marketing !!! As Social Media has emerged as an ultimate solution to all problems either individual or as a group. Social Media has helped small business to gain popularity without spending huge sum or i say no sum at all. Social media is entirely dependent on your ability to build relationships. Money here plays a small factor (it helps to some extent), but it is largely irrelevant.

Most of them are using social networking sites such as Linkedin, Twitter, MySpace and Facebook to a wide extent, which are followed by niche communities and job sites.
Small business decision makers are attracted to the speed and convenience with which they can find or provide business-relevant information from and to social media channels. For example, webinars save the time and expense of travel for professionals working for the small business units.
