Social Media...a Simple Step To Be Successful!!

Author : check buzz

In the present digital world there are no degrees of separation between you and your customers. You are even connected to those whom you don't know but they can be your potential customers. The Internet, many online social media sites & new media tools have taken this the degrees away. Everyone is connected because it is the time and need to connect your business to everyone.

One of the biggest challenges that every business faces, is identifying; who the target audience is, how to engage with them and to build relationships, but the traditional media cost of carrying out these activities has always been expensive.

Let’s take an example to understand this. Juan Mann, the person who started the free hug movement (an act of kindness to heal the world after 9/11 attack), spread this movement via online media and saved huge amount of dollars, for this he used YouTube(Social Media) as a medium to spread the news not traditional media.

If we analyze what he did, he just made a video and uploaded it on youtube,he also used many other form of social media to spread his message with the help of free and easy to use tools. For all this he never had a to pay single cent.

Before going online, you should know that your product/service resonates with its intended audience, and once you know that, the next step is to spread the message far and wide.

Mann used online channels and tools and empowered the audience who were connecting with their message to spread it more, used free channels to communicate. They responded to comments and became active participants in their self created community. Till date video has 1.5 Billion audiences and is available at a very cheap rate.

Now you will think, what does Juan Mann have to do with my business and its complexities? Everything..

Like Juan Mann , you and your business must have a mission. Your core brand values should be direct communicated to respective audience. And when you achieve this, all is done.
Juan Mann is a normal person with less technical and Internet skills. It means that you don’t have to be a Computer whiz to make the online channel and communities work for you.

Simple understanding of your ideas and mission and their execution on proper social networking channels will make your business successful.
