Nature Ways On How To Cure A Sinus Infection

Author : Angie Lindsey

This article will show you about sinusitis of candida albicans disease.

Someone I know just has her first sinus infection since getting healed from candida. The doctor wants her to take antibiotics, so she is asking about what she can do for a natural cure. One of my friends uses mucinex and drinks plenty of fluids for his sinus. Then, he squirts his nose with something like Dristan for just 1-2 days if needed. That lets all the stuff drains out, and was recommended by a doctor who felt that antibiotics are last resorts.

Actually a sinus infection or sinusitis can be caused by many pathogens such as - though the definition is broader - including bacteria, parasites, fungi, viruses, prions, and viroids. Acute sinusitis usually follows a viral infection in the upper respiratory tract, but allergens (allergy-causing substances) or pollutants may also trigger acute sinusitis.

Bacteria that normally cause acute sinusitis are Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Moraxella catarrhalis. These microorganisms, along with Staphylococcus aureus and anaerobes (bacteria that live without oxygen), are involved in chronic sinusitis. Fungi are also becoming an increasing cause of chronic sinusitis, especially in people with diseases that weaken the immune system, such as AIDS, leukemia, and diabetes.

What will help you is flushing them daily and using colloidal silver nasal spray. You can also take Olive Leaf Extract. Bromelain helps to decrease inflammation and helps thin the mucus naturally. Using a humidifier at night is a good idea since you need to keep your sinuses moist. Also, drinking plenty of warm fluids along with a lot of water and some good chicken soup. Lastly, you can apply a warm compress to them and gently massage your sinuses and break up the mucus.
