Bradford University And Intellimon Researching Internet Traffic Generation

Author : Jay Smith

One of the biggest problems today on the internet is generating enough website traffic or visitors, to a website or blog. This problem is now being thoroughly researched by Bradford University in the UK with the help of Paul Smithson from Intellimon. Paul is well known in the internet marketing community as the developer of XsitePro which is a website authoring tool as well as several other products.

Many internet marketers have researched traffic generation themselves and some have shared some of their findings but many have shared only a few. Always there has been that 'magic key' hidden and today still remains hidden. Perhaps this is one reason why so many internet marketers and affiliate marketers seem to be always 'chasing the next shiny object' because they are all after this magic key to unlock the door to the hungry horde of traffic that most believe is possible.

To have a very reputable research institution like Bradford University undertake a study of this kind is the obvious next step towards unbiased traffic generation knowledge. The Bradford University is one of the top Business Universities in the United Kingdom.

As with all scientific research, there needs to be verifiable results. If anyone has ever been a part of any scientific study, then they will be aware that peer review is an essential part of a finding before the results will be published in any reputable scientific journal.

All studies require subjects and in this research undertaking, the subjects are internet and affiliate marketers. Everyone who works on the internet, whether they are earning a liveable income or not, works their own systems. Obviously some work better than others. As to why this is so, is now being studied by the University.

To be a part of this monumental and essential study group is contributing to the development of business strategies that could form a firm foundation for a decade or more to come.

Universities are unbiased research and educational institutions whose only driving force is study and research. They are not out to sell anything or to take anything. They are publicly funded by our Governments as official institutions of research and learning but today they also accept research funds from outside organisations.

With so many of these educational institutions around the world being so chronically underfunded, many of them now accept partnership assignments with local leading businesses like Intellimon. Australia's CSIRO which is our leading research centre in Australia, is today still our premier scientific centre and is well known and respected all around the world.

This could well be the first ever independent and comprehensive study of internet business ever carried out. These findings are essential knowledge to any website owner or blogger who wants to get some business from their investment in listing their business on the internet.

Generating enough traffic to your website or blog is the essential ingredient for getting a return on your invested dollars for your web site. Without traffic, a website slips slowly off into oblivion. But with the right traffic, your web site can hit the free-way and get carried along by a magnetic force.

Precisely what generates this magnetic force is now being researched by the University of Bradford.
