You're missing the point man. He sang about Ireland because he's proud of his roots. No offense but your logic doesn't make much sense. They were all 100% Irish except Ringo, and George Harrison's parents were from Ireland and Paul's grandparents were from Monaghan which is near where my parents are from.It's just cool to know that one of the biggest rock bands in history have the same heritage as me. Don't worry about it.

It's just just nice to know that one of my favorite bands are all the same heritage as me (my parents are from Ireland just like the Beatles' parents). Go listen to "Give Ireland back to the Irish" by Paul McCartney and and then tell me therey're not Irish.

The Beatles are legends even though two of they have died,loads of people still love there music and they are still an amazing band and nothing will change that.I dont see the point in saying bad things about they because you wouldnt like people saying bad things about you so dont judge them, in John and Pauls lyrics they are spending a message. All you need is love is basically say you shouldnt hate people because they are different then you and its true. RIP John and George <3
